History Day
Each year, the 6th grade and 8th grade students at St. Rose participate in History Day by creating a project individually or in groups of two to five students.
Participants at the junior level (6th and 8th grades) can choose to create a paper, documentary, exhibit, website, or performance. The top three projects in each category (individual and group) from each participating school advance to the county competition where students present their projects to judges. The top two students in each category represent Sonoma County in the state contest, held in May each year.
This years History Day, Sonoma County Competition will be held in February 2012 at the Sonoma Academy. Students will be notified by their teachers when they will be starting this extremely worthwhile project.
