Social Responsibility

St. Rose School takes it’s role in social development very seriously. As a faith based community the school from it’s beginning  has always stressed in the School Mission Statement and the Student Learning Expectations (SLE”s) that educating the students to become socially rounded is one of our goals.

Our students are taught to exhibit Christian behavior through service. Effective communicators who can read and comprehend, listen, utilize technology, and exhibit competence both written and orally when presenting concepts to groups.

They are taught to take responsibility for their actions. Demonstrate respect for themselves and for others. Make choices that reflect knowledge of health and environmental issues, and identify leadership qualities in themselves. St. Rose students are problem solvers who are taught to observe, experiment, discover, and reach solutions. These skills allow them to learn to work, play and interact successfully both individually and cooperatively.
